Rainbow Studios is searching for a qualified Graphic/UI Artist for our Wii exclusive
action/adventure title. We will consider applicants from both inside and outside of the
game industry for this position.

Graphic/UI Artist Position Summary:
Concepts/creates Graphic/UI 2D/3D content and integrates it into the game engine

Essential Job Functions:
• Conceptualizes 2D/3D data-set UI
• Creates 2D/3D assets
• Competently assists in design of UI flow and function
• Integrates assets into game
• Participates in visual comparison and critiques
• Learns and uses proprietary tools
• Works with Tech. Programmers and Game Designers
• Works within hardware limitations for project
• Meets deadlines with proficiency
• Uses commercially available digital software competently
• Remains stationary for long periods of time while working in front of a computer
• Manipulates a keyboard, mouse, and/or other input device
• Interacts and communicates effectively with management on both a project and studio level
• Participates in studio-sanctioned training courses
• Performs other similar or related duties as necessary

Experience/Skills:
• 3-6 years of industry experience
• Working knowledge of Maya/MAX and/or other 3D software package, Illustrator,
Combustion, Photoshop, Flash, Alienbrain/Perforce
• Thorough understanding of digital/traditional and Graphic art techniques
• Thorough understanding of UI flow and function design
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively
• Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change
• Bachelor´s (BA) degree from an accredited 4-year college or university or equivalent industry
experience
