Description:

Eurocom is one of the world’s leading independent games developers and has been around since the early days of console games.  Now in our 19th year, we are a successful, growing business with a strong and stable foundation for future development.  We have over 270 staff based in our Derby studio, working on multiple projects across Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo platforms, and PC.  Eurocom has developed over seventy titles to date, most recently Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (soon to be released), Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Batman Begins, Predator: Concrete Jungle, Robots, Spyro: A Hero’s Tail and Athens 2004, and there are many more in the pipeline.

The primary focus of the technical animator and scripter is to research, build, evolve and maintain all technical aspects of the animation production pipeline, including character tools and facial set-ups.  You will be highly proactive with the ability to resolve problems and increase production efficiency.  You will need to have an advanced knowledge of character rigging, Maya’s node systems and MEL scripting.  Experience of Maya’s referencing systems and API is an advantage but not essential.  Awareness of 3D software that can interact with other tools within production would be an advantage and programming knowledge/experience would be helpful.

A full job description, which outlines the main duties and responsibilities and the skills, experience and qualifications required, can be viewed on our website www.eurocom.co.uk.

We offer a competitive salary, plus discretionary bonuses, and an attractive benefits package.

We encourage all job applicants to apply online via our website.  However, if you are unable to apply online or you prefer not to do so, an application form can be downloaded from our website and completed electronically or by hand and sent by e-mail or post.  Alternatively, telephone us on +44 (0)1332 825100 to request a form.

Strictly no agencies or freelancers please.
