Description:

Eurocom is one of the world’s leading independent games developers and has been around since the early days of console games.  Now in our 19th year, we are a successful, growing business with a strong and stable foundation for future development.  We have over 270 staff based in our Derby studio, working on multiple projects across Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo platforms, and PC.  Eurocom has developed over seventy titles to date, most recently Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (soon to be released), Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Batman Begins, Predator: Concrete Jungle, Robots, Spyro: A Hero’s Tail and Athens 2004, and there are many more in the pipeline.
 
We are seeking talented gameplay/level designers to work on one of our newest and most ambitious projects – an original game (new IP), on next-gen only, and for a major worldwide publisher.

Core skill requirements:
• Creativity
• Level triggering (Hammer, Radiant, UnrealEd, etc.)
• Game scripting (Lua, Python, etc.) or relevant programming experience
• Basic modelling skills (Max, Maya, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills and an understanding of what makes a good (and bad) game
